The Origin
Compost Heroes was born out of a simple need at Green Camps: how do we make technical environmental science fun for kids? Composting is often seen as a chore or a complex biological process, but we saw it as a battle for balance.
We wanted to capture the careful management of Carbon (Browns) and Nitrogen (Greens), the importance of Airflow and Moisture, and the "Heroes" (decomposers) that do the heavy lifting.
